The Role
We're looking for hands-on A Grade Electricians with some knowledge of cranes or plant machinery to join our skilled crane servicing team. From installing and repairing cranes and hoists to working directly with clients, you'll play a key role in ensuring safety, quality, and reliability on every job.
This role offers the opportunity to work across both regional and metro locations, supporting leading clients in the mining, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, and oil & gas industries. You'll gain valuable exposure to a variety of on-site and in-field servicing assignments. All travel and accommodation are fully provided.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service & maintain overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting gear
Fault diagnosis using electrical & electronic instruments
Install electrical switchboards and connect systems to power supply
Test circuits and ensure compliance with safety standards
Travel to site locations (some FIFO work involved)
Position involves 50-75% travel/FIFO work
Complete electronic service reports and documentation
Mentor junior technicians
What You'll Need
"A" Class Electrical Licence
Some experience in mechanical servicing, or comparable industrial equipment roles is highly regarded
Strong mechanical aptitude
High-risk EWP licence & Working at Heights certification
Current Driver's Licence
Ability to travel/work away when required
Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and reporting abilities
Able to pass pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
Australian work authorisation required
