Auto Electrician

Boggabri Coal Mine is an open-cut coal operation, producing in excess of 7 million tonnes per annum and with a mine life extending through until 2036. BCO is located approximately 57kms from Narrabri, 60 km from Gunnedah and 23km from Boggabri NSW. These historic small country towns offer community spirit and a unique, diverse country lifestyle.
 
How you will contribute:

• Working in the maintenance team this role is responsible for the scheduled servicing, diagnostic, and repairs on a variety of Heavy Mining Equipment, Heavy Rigid, Medium Rigid Trucks, Buses and Light Vehicles.
• You will be required to work in a workshop and/or field environment.
• A permanent position is on offer working directly for Boggabri Coal. Boggabri can offer a competitive salary package and a family friendly residential role, where you can be home after every shift.

What we're looking for:
You believe in fostering a positive work culture and ongoing growth, ensuring we always put our people first.  

• Cert III in Automotive Electrical (required).
• Certificate of Proficiency (required).
• Refrigerant Handling Licence (required).
• Forklift and HRWL licences are highly regarded
• Able to complete an Order 45 Pre-employment Medical.
• Experience with and the ability to analyse technical data (electrical schematics, CAN-bus faults/diagnostics, etc.).
• Proficient computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and ideally SAP.
