We are currently seeking an Electrician to join our regional FIFO teams to assist across a variety of our sites, working for multiple clients.

ABOUT YOU:

• Construction White Card

• Valid Australian Drivers’ Licence

• Grade A WA Electrical Licence

• CPR/LVR Certificate (Valid within 1 Year of Obtainment)

• Previous experience on civil construction projects

• Experience with Solar and Battery Storage – highly desirable 

• Strong communication skills

• Willingness to assist with other “on the ground” tasks

• Able to complete a thorough pre-employment medical and DAS

• Committed to safety, problem solving, and working as part of a team

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Working with our Dewatering and Civil construction teams

• Providing ad-hoc support to our metro operations, particularly around Solar energy works

• Working and ensuring project execution is conducted safely to required standards and schedule

• Conducting routine Health and Safety pre-start checks prior to commencing works

• Understand and comply with all operation specific quality procedures and statutory regulations

• Installation of devices and instruments and other electrical components

• Carry out cable terminations, as well as cable tray, ladder and conduit installations,

• Abstraction/injection bore installation, cable jointing testing commissioning 

• HV/LV installation all wiring and commissioning/ telemetry / communications 

• Office sets up

• Facilities maintenance

• Testing and tagging

• RCD Injection testing

• Statutory testing as required

• Earthing systems and testing
