Electrical Tradesperson – Weipa (2 Weeks On / 2 Week Off)

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Tradesperson, ideally with refrigeration experience, to join our Weipa team on a 2 weeks on / 2 week off roster.
This role supports both mining and residential operations and is well suited to a motivated, safety-focused tradesperson who can work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment.
Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Shutdown maintenance
Equipment maintenance
Refrigeration systems (domestic & commercial)
Electrical services across site and residential assets
Trade Certificate (Electrical)
QLD Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain)
Certificate III in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration (highly desirable)
LVR & CPR
Working at Heights
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Rio Tinto Induction (highly regarded)
Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Proven experience in mining and/or domestic environments
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn
Able to take direction and collaborate effectively with supervisors and peers
Based in QLD or willing to FIFO to Weipa
3/1 FIFO roster
