Telecommunications Technician
We are hiring for qualified and experienced Telecommunications Technicians who can perform multiple scope of work to join our expanding team for projects in ACT.

Position-1
Roles and responsibilities (Fiber splicer/Inbuilding technician)
Splicing of fibre closures.
Install, splice, terminate and OTDR Test Fiber Optic Cable.
Capability to run inbuilding fibre optic cable
Ability to read and understand plans (SLD, splicing tables).
Good understanding of HSE requirements in the field.
Basic troubleshoot of telecom networks.
Experience with internal cable and conduit will be an advantage.
Experience with ribbon fibre will be an advantage.
NBN tickets.
Minimum 1-2 years of telecommunications experience required for fiber splicing roles.
Position-2
Roles and responsibilities (Civil worker/Hauler)
Rod and Rope
Hauling of various size fiber optic cables
Pit and pipe installation.
ACM Removal
Drawing Red line Markups
Minimum 1-2 years of telecommunications experience required for civil work and hauling positions.
Essentials
White Card
Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness-ACT
Current Australian Driver's License
Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months)
Implement Traffic Management Plan ticket.
First aid and CPR
Confined Space and Gas test
Telecommunications Pit and Pipe and Hauling ticket.
Reliable transport and the ability to travel throughout ACT region
Most certifications required before commencement, with some flexibility for completion during initial employment period.
