Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Industrial

What you'll do



As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer in Gladstone you'll contribute to projects and programs that support the future of the Industrial Business. You will make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.

• Lead the design and delivery of instrumentation, control, and communication systems across complex industrial projects
  
• Act as a trusted I&C technical specialist, advising on system architecture, integration, and best practice
  
• Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and process teams to deliver seamless, multidisciplinary solutions
  
• Mentor and develop less experienced engineers, building team capability and technical excellence
  
• Oversee project delivery, managing schedule, budget, quality, and risk
  
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to winning and growing project opportunities
  

What you'll bring

• Relevant engineering qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  
• RPEQ (Electrical) or ITEE equivalent
  
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on instrumentation
  
• A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
  
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
  
• The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
