Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a 6-month+ contract supporting a large-scale sustaining capital project for one of the nation’s largest mining companies.
 
Candidates must have HV Distribution experience.
 
Perth based - will require on average a week on site per month.   

Key Responsibilities
 

• Deliver electrical engineering support.
• Provide electrical design expertise in HV systems, including vendor package management.
• Produce and review engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, datasheets, scopes of work, and material requisitions.
• Independently undertake project and technical analyses and report on outcomes.
• Conduct electrical design reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Support scope creation, procurement packages, scheduling, and client clarifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions from design through to commissioning.

About You
 

• Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in electrical engineering across diverse mining projects.
• Background in HV design.
• Experience across all phases, from project delivery from study to execution.
