At SUREX Consulting, we’re expanding our Sydney team and looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer who wants to be more than just a contributor — someone who wants to be involved in decisions, deliver quality work, and continuously improve.

About the Role

As a Junior Electrical Engineer at SUREX, you’ll work across a diverse range of projects and clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

You’ll play an active role not only in project delivery, but also in shaping how we work as a business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in design and development of electrical building services including lighting, power, communications, security and access control systems.

• Assist in preparing technical documentation including drawings, specifications and reports.

• Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Perform general problem-solving using engineering formulas and skills.

• Ensuring compliance with relevant standards, codes and best practices.

• Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and project delivery.

About You

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communicator who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

• Motivated to learn, grow, and take ownership of your work.

• Technical capability and experience with CAD tools is preferred.
