Greentec Energy is a rapidly growing provider of electrical and renewable energy solutions

specialising in solar power systems, electrical installations, and energy-efficient technologies

across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Electrical Engineering Technician to

support the delivery of electrical and photovoltaic (PV) projects throughout Western

Australia.

Key Responsibilities

 Assist in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and solar

power systems.

 Prepare technical drawings, layouts, schematics, and documentation for electrical

and photovoltaic installations.

 Conduct inspections, fault finding, diagnostics, and performance testing of electrical

equipment and solar systems.

 Support project planning activities including load calculations, technical assessments,

and cost estimations.

 Monitor compliance with Australian electrical standards, workplace health and safety

requirements, and company procedures.

 Coordinate with electricians, installers, contractors, and project managers to ensure

efficient project execution and delivery.

 Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of inverters, switchboards, battery

storage systems, and associated electrical equipment.

 Record technical data, prepare reports, and maintain accurate project and

maintenance documentation.

 Conduct testing of electrical systems and equipment in support of Electrical

Engineers and Engineering Technologists.

 Prepare charts, tabulations, and technical reports relating to system performance and

project activities.

Skills and Experience

 Relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering Technology or related discipline.

 Demonstrated experience in electrical systems and/or solar PV installations.

 Knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety regulations.

 Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.

 Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

 Excellent organisational and communication abilities.

 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within project teams.

Desirable

 Experience in renewable energy or solar industry projects.

 Familiarity with inverters, battery systems, switchboards, and electrical testing

equipment.

 Current driver’s licence.

 White Card.
