Building Services Electrical Engineer (2-5 years)

About the role

Due to an increase in exciting projects BCA Consultants is seeking a Building Services Electrical Engineer with 2–5 years experience to join our Perth team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across Western Australia, including commercial, health, education, hospitality,  government and remote community developments.

You will work with a great team of senior experienced engineers delivering electrical building services design from concept through to construction.

What you'll be doing

• Electrical design for building services projects

• Power and communications distribution

• Lighting and lighting control design

• Voice and data systems

• Security and CCTV systems

• Preparation of calculations, reports, drawings and specifications

• Coordination with architects and other engineering disciplines

• Site inspections and construction phase support

What we're looking for

• Electrical Engineering degree

• 2–5 years experience in Building Services / Electrical Consulting

• Knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC/BCA

• Experience with AutoCAD (Revit advantageous)

Strong communication and teamwork skills
