Lead Electrical Engineer

EPCM Solutions is a dynamic engineering consultancy that provides engineering support and solutions to customers in the utilities, transport, mining, oil & gas, manufacturing and defense industries. 

We provide construction engineering, automation, compliance auditing, energy management and project services to meet our Customers’ engineering needs from offices in WA and NSW.

Our NSW team require a proactive and professional lead electrical engineer to head our Sydney based office and take on engineering project management and team leadership roles and be a key part to EPCM Solutions management team. 

This role will suit an experienced engineer that is driven by quality control and attention to detail and enjoys working in partnership with our clients and developing a young team. You must have strong communication skills for customer interfacing and team leadership. 

For the right candidate, this role has good career growth potential within EPCM Solutions. The role is based in the Parramatta/Silverwater area of Sydney NSW.

We are looking for an engineer with CPENG qualification and a background in mining construction, MV distribution, or manufacturing.  Strong technical problem solving skills are essential and the role will include supervision and lead system design and equipment sizing for projects in power generation and distribution, high voltage designs, power system network studies, CAD, mine and tunnel electrical systems,  switchboard and substation designs, project planning and related activities.

You will get exposure to many and varied projects, introduced to customer facilities, and opportunities to expand experience with the latest industry practices, equipment and systems in use.

The position is a full time role working normal office hours in Sydney, NSW, with regional travel and site work expected from time to time.
