Lead Electrical Engineer - Projects

RASP Australia is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer – Projects to oversee and deliver electrical engineering solutions across complex projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who can manage design, coordination, and execution while working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical engineering activities across multiple projects
• Oversee electrical design, documentation, and compliance
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, contractors, and consultants
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Ensure compliance with Australian standards, codes, and safety requirements
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover phases
• Identify risks and provide practical engineering solutions

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Electrical Engineer on projects
• Strong background in project-based electrical engineering
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience across commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects (preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Chartered or working toward CPEng (highly regarded)
