Are you a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer ready to lead complex projects and mentor the next generation of engineering talent? We are looking for a self-sufficient, technically driven professional to join our Brisbane team. At Cell Engineering, we focus on providing responsive, high-quality consultancy and customised design solutions for power systems and process control.

In this role, you will be a valued technical resource, managing diverse workgroups and projects from concept through to post-commissioning support across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead project workgroups, ensuring the high-quality delivery of electrical control and systems design.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to Project and Graduate Engineers on technical issues and design work.
  • Conduct rigorous reviews of engineering work to maintain professional standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Manage project lifecycles, including budgetary oversight, timeframes, and regular progress reporting to management.
  • Drive business growth by maintaining client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and introducing innovations to the market.
  • Develop complex technical papers, reports, and specifications from scratch with limited oversight.

What You Will Bring

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience with a proven track record in project management.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical designs, power systems, and specialised engineering software packages.
  • A natural desire to lead, mentor teams, and promote a culture of quality and safety.
  • Eligibility for membership with Engineers Australia and possession of (or ability to obtain within 12 months) an RPEQ qualification.
  • Exceptional written and oral skills, with the ability to convey complex technical content clearly.
